Native English-speaking actors

Making English fun and dynamic

We are dedicated to making English fun, dynamic, and accessible for students of all ages.

Chameleon Theatre North is an English-language theatre company based in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

We perform interactive theatre shows and escape room activities in schools across Álava, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa, Navarra, Cantabria, La Rioja, and the province of Burgos.

All our performances are delivered by native English-speaking actors, and designed to immerse students in English through laughter, participation, and real communication.

We work with Infants, Primary, and Secondary students, bringing engaging language experiences directly to schools—no transport or extra logistics needed.

Whether it’s solving a mystery in our escape room or joining in a live theatre performance, our activities are created to be educational, inclusive, and fun.

Our team

Meet the founder

Dan Onslow, originally from London, founded Chameleon Theatre North in 2021 after several years of experience in educational theatre in both Spain and the UK.

Dan studied Drama at the University of Hull and trained professionally at LISPA (London International School of Performing Arts). With a strong background in fringe theatre festivals across Europe, Dan brings a creative and energetic approach to every project.

Before launching Chameleon Theatre North, he worked with the original Chameleon Theatre in Madrid, and has been involved extensively in Theatre in Education, collaborating with organisations such as Artis Education (London) and Act Out English Language Theatre Workshops (Madrid).

His passion for theatre and education drives the company’s mission: to make English come alive for students in schools across northern Spain.

Meet the team

Hannah Berry is a theatre actor and educator based in Donosti. She trained professionally at LISPA and has worked in theatre across the Basque Country, performing in a range of productions and educational settings.

In addition to her work with Chameleon Theatre North, Hannah runs her own English-language theatre classes for primary school children, where she combines creativity, confidence-building, and language learning.

She is deeply passionate about both theatre and education, and brings warmth, energy, and a love of storytelling to every session she leads.

Administrator

Eguzki Donnellan is the organisational heart of Chameleon Theatre North. A skilled and friendly coordinator, she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—from communication and scheduling to logistics and planning.

Eguzki is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Basque, and brings her deep cultural understanding and communication skills to every part of the company’s operations.

In addition to her administrative role, she also teaches English to children and helps run summer camps, combining her organisational strengths with hands-on educational experience.

Her approachable, reliable presence is a key part of what makes Chameleon Theatre North a
success.
